6 Months

Sweet little Ruth is already 6 months old!

For my memory:

18 lbs, 8 oz (90th percentile)
27 inches (90th percentile)
Size three diapers
9-12 months clothes
Nurses 6 times/day
Loves food - has tried various fruits and veggies and actually eats 2-3 large bowls of food each day in addition to nursing... she can't seem to ever get full!
Still wakes to eat once at night - usually goes to bed around 7pm and eats between 3am-4am, then goes right back to sleep until 7:30-8:30am.
Rolls around the living room every time she's on the floor .
Sits assisted.

She is very loved by all and simply precious.
Ruth Marie, you are such a happy, laid back baby.. happy half birthday sweet girl!
 

 

Slinky

This morning we took Ruth to the doctor for her 6 month checkup and the kids were each given one toy from the treasure chest upon leaving. Isaiah chose a slinky. Who knew so many hours of fun could come from such a little toy?!? This was Isaiah’s favorite use for it:

He soon realized that gravity was taking effect and put it on the side of her head instead:

And of course Emelyn enjoyed doing it too.

Spring is near!

This past weekend we spent a great amount of time outside. It was in the upper 70’s and made us anxious for Spring to be here for good.

And cousin Payten came to visit too! These sweet girls are 5 minutes shy of being exactly 4 weeks apart.

Friday morning at our house

What are we up to this beautiful Friday morning? Ruth is eating breakfast (6 months old today!) Isaiah is coloring in an attempt to keep him out of mischief, and Emelyn is being a couch potato.

Warmer weather?

Anyone know when summer will arrive? We don't have any pants that fit over these thighs anymore! I guess if I buy 18 month pants to get through the last few months maybe they'll fit this fall when Ruth becomes more mobile!?
