Happy birthday Jake!
Jake’s birthday was yesterday, and while he didn’t think it was a big deal we have three kiddos who DID think it was a big deal. So it became a big deal.
The kids all woke up early, eager to have daddy open the presents they made and bought him. The each picked out a new shirt for him:
And then Jake came home at 3 to surprise the kids after their naps which made their day. He also asked if anyone would like to dig into his rice krispies before supper (his gluten free version of birthday cake) and they happily screamed “YES!”
We are so grateful for you Jacob and love you!
A few cute random pictures…
I’m trying to catch up on pictures and found these on my camera. They’re just too cute not to share!
Swinging at cousin Payten’s house:
Sweet Payten:
“Matching girls:”
Climbing in Isaiah’s crib is as good as Disney to this little girl. Oh how she loves her brother!
Happy Birthday Ruth!
On Ruth’s birthday we had a special time with family and friends celebrating our sweet little girl. Tom & Mary came (Ruth’s BSF teacher and also our neighbors,) along with G&G C, Eric, Kelsey and Payten and Hayley and her mom. Such a sweet, special group of people that are dear to our family!

A Chocolate Mess for the Birthday Girl
These pictures aren’t very good, but I love Ruth’s expressions (and the expressions of the couple behind her.) The night before her birthday, Jake’s parents took us to Marketplace Grill for dinner – a place that gives you a huge chocolate covered, ice cream filled cup to celebrate your birthday. She liked it:
