Dad’s 60th Birthday Party

On Sunday our family successfully surprised my dad with a 60th birthday party at Kirwin Reservoir. While dad was out on the lake, we were in town getting set up and catching up with family. Birthdays are such a fun excuse to gather and see family! Our kids had a full weekend with their cousins on both sides of the family and can’t wait to see everyone again.

Emelyn’s Graduation

I know this sounds a little crazy, but Emelyn had graduation for her 1-day-a-week Kids Day Out program she went to this year. It was a cute cute cute program and I spent more time watching, laughing (all with teary eyes!) instead of taking pictures. Here are the few I took that aren’t that great (she’s second from the right: )

Memorial Weekend @ G&G’s

We went to KS for quick trip this weekend and spent a fun Friday night and Saturday with Grandpa and Grandma C. We got to see a lot of family and also spent some time driving/riding on green equipment.

Today we went to the library but before going inside, we fed the ducks outside some old bread we had.

Where is Ruth you ask? As far away from the ducks as possible. She yelled "Duck get you!!" and climbed up our arms anytime she was close to them. Maybe next time she'll be brave enough to throw food.

Supper time

We have had two precious boys staying with us the last two weeks and coloring keeps everyone busy and happy while waiting for supper. :) Sweet conversations and laughter occur around this table.

My goodness it was a beautiful day here today! With a full day of rain forecasted tomorrow, we spent every spare moment we had outside.
