First grade rodeo

Thursday, Emelyn, along with all the other first graders in our town, went to Parson's Stadium for a stick horse rodeo. The kids had so much fun and the weather was perfect to be outside!

Ballet Recital

Our sweet little ballerina had her ballet recital tonight. She danced beautifully to "Worthy" and then the entire company (143 girls) danced to "Worthy is the Lamb." So very proud of her hard work and perseverance this semester!

My little baker

This girl loves weekends because it means she gets to bake something for breakfast.
Any guesses what her favorite breakfast is?!?

Hiking

Today we went to a nearby trail and enjoyed the nice cloudy weather. Everyone had fun, especially at the end when they threw rocks in the creek.
Pretty waterfalls:
A little racing at the dam:
The frog pond called "Quiet Pond" - It was anything but quiet!!
Caves (with spiders!)
Another pretty waterfall:
This girl wanted EVERY sign read:

Easter

We had a beautiful Easter weekend this year with G&G Cersovsky! Here are some pictures from the weekend:

Meeting Eleanor

(Just noticed this post never posted!)

Last weekend, Isaiah, Ruth and I went to Riley to meet our new niece (and as an added bonus, Grandma and Great-Grandma were there too as well as Uncle Jonathan and Aunt Elizabeth!)

Someone was in heaven!
Great-grandma brought Isaiah, Ruth, Sam and Jer a special treat!
Happy girls!
Grandma read for hours to these two!
After Ella's baby dedication:
Can't wait to meet our next niece/nephew!
Lots of dirt work:

Doctor, Dentist, Doctor

I'm pretty sure yesterday I was at a medical clinic more than home, and it left me incredibly grateful to have access to doctors! Ruth has had a fever since Friday so we were back at the doctor for more tests first thing yesterday morning, then at 10 we had dental check ups. (Emelyn had a tooth pulled and we found Isaiah has a LOOSE tooth!) Then after school Emelyn went to the doctor for a skin rash that has appeared. Very grateful for a doctor that is willing to stay late just so that I could bring Emelyn alone after Jake got home from work!
Saturday morning at the doctor:
Waiting for test results in a very small confined room:
Time alone with this sweetie... (Even if it was to go to the doctor!)
