Painting

This week Jake and I have been taking continuing education classes each night for our Foster care requirements. Tonight we spent time making our family tree. We will add green thumbprints with names for each child that has lived with us. It was a lot of fun and encouraging making these with other foster parents. So far we have 10 thumbprints to add.

Potty trained!

Last Monday, this sweet girl asked if she could wear "frozen" panties that day. She peed through 7 pairs and never once went on the potty, but two days later she went 7 times on the potty and never in her panties. I think it's safe to say that she's got it since she comes to tell us when she needs to go instead of us asking her constantly if she needs to try. Here she is at the pool yesterday watching big brother and sister during swimming lessons... Even the sound of constant running water didn't derail her!

Jumping

One item on the kids "bucket list" this summer was to go to a local jump zone. Yesterday we went and it's safe to say everyone loved it (even the adults as you can see below: )
