I got to chaperone Isaiahs class today to the children's museum. Such a sweet group!

Turtles

This morning we got our bikes out and enjoyed a family bike ride (7.2 miles!!! The kids were on fire!!) Half way through we stopped at the pond outside the hospital and what was going to be a time to throw rocks turned into watching geese and eventually turtles. We've never seen turtles here before and we spent nearly 30 minutes watching them swim around going in and out of the water. Who knew something this simple would be so entertaining and fun to watch!

Egg hunt

Our neighborhood got together today for crafts, and Easter egg hunt, and snacks. It was beautiful weather for a fun afternoon with wonderful friends.

Reading

Tonight I was booted from one of my favorite jobs as mom- nighttime reading. Ruth asked Isaiah to read to her and he did it beautifully. Such sweetness!

Date

Emelyn and I have been counting down to our April date for months now. We went to see Beauty and the Beast and it was so so good. Better than I had hoped. Then she wanted to get some Yum Yos ice cream which made it even better. :)

Yesterday we went on an Easter egg hunt with some friends and the weather was absolutely perfect. The rest of the day was spent outside.
