If I had a magic wand..

This past week I helped tape magic wands on the stories Emelyn's class wrote in their hallway. They had to finish "If I had a magic wand..." It was fun reading what each kid would do if they had a magic wand. Then I got to emelyns. In hers she said:

"If I had a magic wand I would wish to live in a castle in Kansas. I can live with my grandparents and cousins and aunts and uncles. I will have a lot of pretty dresses and shoes and tiaras and eat yummy cakes with frosting and sprinkles. I will have my hair done very neat."

Ruth Three Years

We are at Ruths three year well exam today and are waiting for shots. She is 39 inches (90th percentile) and 34 pounds (75th percentile.) One growing girl!

Drive thru Safari

We had one thing left on our summer bucket list this morning and tonight we crossed it off (with just a couple of days of summer to spare!) We went to the Drive Thru Safari and all the animals were out and up close and personal on this beautiful day. Here are some pictures of the day:

Family Bike Ride

Tonight we took the kids to Lake Fayetteville and much to our surprise, the kids made it all the way around the lake! It may have taken us 45 minutes to do the 5.5 mile trail (with lots of stops along the way) but we did it! We also had to go around two armadillos walking on the trail. :)

First day of KDO

Today is Isaiah and Ruth's first day of Kids Day Out and to say they're excited is an understatement!!

Ruths Third Birthday!

Ruth turned three yesterday and we had a fun day celebrating her life with things she loves! The day before we made purple cupcakes together:

Naturals Baseball with Emelyn

Emelyn and I got to go on a little date last Thursday... Out for a quick supper then to the Naturals Baseball game (she received two tickets for reading...) We had fun! (Even if she couldn't remember which sport we were "watching")
